Still seeking the Farsi script of Joan's Farsi stanza.

I would bet my last farsi farthing that the Iranian opposition is musically grounded, while the Basij are out smashing any media that isn't a sermon. Maybe the 30 somethings will overcome, and may it be so.
Over these last long war years, it's often struck me that the music of dissent in my youth was so much cooler than the pop pap, movie theme ballads, or patriotic pop offerings of the 60's. Last year I went looking for Lee Michaels 1970 "War" anti-anthem, and found various remixes had been chased off Utube by the copyright police, while his non-political music could be sampled without much effort.
