There were two initial explosions on the truck, probably to prime the big bomb and security personnel were trying to put out the fire on the truck . . .

I truly suspect that some faction of the Pakistani military and\or intelligence was in on this attack. I think it is their little way of getting revenge on the Americans for the recent spike in American attacks in the Pakistani tribal areas. Either way this bombing seems like the logical outcome of the disastrous American policy toward Pakistan. As the commentator and comedian Bill Maher recently observed: "They don't hate us for our freedoms, they hate us for our airstrikes."
