Dear Professor Cole
As I was thinking about the Libermann provocation in the Wall Street Journal I did think to myself that moving a couple of divisions away from the Golan front to the Iraqi border might open up opportunities for someone else.
I wonder what sort of murkiness is waiting in the wings for the last lap to November 2008.
Surely having cocked up Iraq, driven Iran into the Arms of the Russians and Chinese and pissed off the Turks, they aren't going to go for the consolation prize of an Israeli occupation of Damascus, the B'qaa and Beruit.
